WPL 2026 Auction: The recently concluded Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 mega auction on Thursday, November 27, in New Delhi, recorded 277 players going under the hammer to fill the available 77 slots. Out of which, 67 players were able to find buyers from five different franchises.
Interestingly, Deepti Sharma, who bagged the player of the tournament in the recently concluded Women’s ODI World Cup, turned out to be the most expensive buy of this auction after Warriorz acquired her via RTM.
At the same time, there are some shocking omissions as well. Noteworthy overseas star players like Alyssa Healy and Alana King went unsold in this season’s WPL auction.
