Team India Set To Tour Of Bangladesh To Begin On December 04

Team India is set to tour Bangladesh for three ODIs and two Test series. The tour will start with the three ODIs first and then the two teams will play two match test series.

After a disappointing exit of Team India from the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, they shift their focus to bilateral series again. Team India will now tour New Zealand for the three T20Is and three ODIs starting on November 18 in Wellington.

The New Zealand series starts with the three T20Is first played at Wellington, Mount Maunganui, and Napier on November 18, 20, and 22 respectively. After three T20Is, the ODI series begins on November 25 at Eden Park, Auckland. The next two ODIs will be played at Hamilton and Christchurch on November 27 and 30.

H Pandya will lead the side in the New Zealand series without the regular captain R Sharma. Some big players will be rested for the New Zealand series. That is to manage the workload due to the long tournament like World Cup.

After the New Zealand series, Team India will play Bangladesh starting with 3 ODIs. The first ODI will be played at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka.

Team India will play the next two ODIs at the same venue on December 07 and 10. After the three ODIs, the test series will begin on December 14 at Zaher Ahmed Chowdhary Stadium, Chattogram. The second test will start on December 22 in Dhaka.

The ODI series is a part of the World ODI Super League. Team India is the host so there is no context for them as far as World ODI Super League is concerned.

Also, the test series is also a part of the World Test Championship (WTC). So team India will look to grab those two points and want to strengthen their tally in the WTC points table.

Team India always had an upper hand against Bangladesh. Whether it is ODI cricket or test cricket, home venue or away venue, Team India always had an upper hand.

In the recent past, Bangladesh has done well and won a few games. They also came close in a few games, but couldn’t cross the line.

Bangladesh is now a much improved team. And we can see a very good contest between the two good Asian sides.
