Indian women’s team batting stalwart Smriti Mandhana is set to marry the music director and composer Palash Muchhal this November.
After the completion of the Women’s World Cup final against South Africa on November 02 (Sunday), the lovely pair are expected to tie the knot on November 20 (Thursday).
Team India’s vice-captain was reported to have been dating Palash since 2019. However, the couple officially revealed their relationship via Instagram in July 2025 to mark their fifth anniversary.
A Brief Introduction: Who is Palash Muchhal?
A 30-year-old musician and filmmaker, originating from Indore, Palash Muchhal is the younger brother of the playback singer and lyricist Palak Muchhal, who got married to musician Mithun Sharma.
Palash, along with his sister Palak, during their early stages of their career, performed shows all over India as well as in foreign countries to increase funds for the poor children who require financial aid to undergo medical treatment.
Born in a Marwari family of Indore on May 22, 1995, Palash is one year older than the 29-year-old Smriti Mandhana (born on July 18, 1996).

During a media interaction at the State Press Club, Palash was asked about his bonding with the Indian star cricketer. The Indore-born music composer gave a one-word answer confirming his wedding to Smriti:
“Yeah! She (referring to Smriti Mandhana) will soon become the daughter-in-law of Indore, and that’s all I want to say right now. I convey my best wishes to Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti to guide the Indian cricket team to success in every match, and we want them to bring glory to our nation,” Palash answered the reporters.
Palash’s Sister Opens Up About Her Special Bonding with Smriti
In recent times, Palak refused to speak about her brother’s wedding plan and rather chose to open up about her valuable relationship with Smriti Mandhana:
“See! I truly cherish my bonding with Smriti. We are very close to each other and share a wonderful bond. It’s not a sister like relationship, but her achievements are remarkable within a short span of time.
As a person, a woman, or a cricketer, I feel proud of her. Speaking about her talent, it isn’t about a fluke; rather, it’s a real and strong set of skills.
She has been brilliant in her work and is a family-oriented person who knows how to value relationships deeply. Apart from being my best friend, she is a music lover too, and I believe her favorite song is Kaun Tujhe. She enjoys listening to music a lot,” Palak said.
