According to recent reports, Senior pace bowler Ishant Sharma has stepped out from the red-ball cricket. On the other hand, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant are named in the 84-member Delhi Ranji Trophy probable list.

Earlier it was during 2012 when Virat was last seen playing in the Ranji Trophy for Delhi. Whereas, Rishabh Pant appeared one time in 2019.

Recently during a press meeting, Gursharan Singh, the chief selector confirmed that this is a standard procedure. He added saying that this is not the first time Virat Kohli has been named in the probable list because he is already a registered player for Delhi.
