Pakistan, Sri Lanka, & Australia Confirmed For New Zealand Cricket Home Season 2024-25
The New Zealand Cricket (NCZ) has revealed the schedule of the men’s and women’s cricket teams ahead of the home series until summer 2025. The men’s national cricket team will host England, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan, whereas the female team will clash against Sri Lanka and Australia.
This summer, New Zealand’s home season starts with the 3-match Test series against England from 28th November 2024, with Christchurch, Wellington, and Hamilton as the hosting venues.
Later, Sri Lanka will be touring New Zealand for the limited overs series featuring 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs, starting from 28th December 2024. New Zealand will host the series before traveling to Pakistan to participate in the Tri-series in February 2025.
The home season concludes with the white ball series comprising the 5-match T20I series and 3-match ODI series against Pakistan that commences on 16th March 2025 and completes on 05th April 2025.
When considering the women’s cricket team, New Zealand hosts Australia in 3 ODIs from December 19th to 23rd and the 3 T20Is from March 21st to 26th in the next year. Also, the Sri Lankan women’s team will visit New Zealand for a 6-match white ball tour during March 2025.
