The 2024 edition of NPL (Nepal Premier League) brings about a big milestone in Nepalese cricket by bringing in a franchise-based Twenty20 cricket league. This season’s inaugural is expected to bring a captivating lineup of international cricket talent in combination with local Nepalese players, assuring an enjoyable tournament for cricket fans across the globe.
Structure and Schedule of NPL 2024
The CAN (Cricket Association of Nepal) is organizing the NPL 2024, featuring 8 teams that represent Nepal’s major cities.
NPL 2024 (Nepal Premier League) is scheduled to begin soon:
- At Venue: Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal.
- Starting from: 30th November 2024.
- Completing on: 21st December 2024.
The playing structure of the league is simple, as it would follow the “Round-Robin” Format. In this format, each team will be playing against the other 7 teams at least once in the league. There would be top 4 teams to qualify for the playoffs, reaching the final match to crown the champion.
