ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Squads Details For All Teams

As there is less than a month left for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 to commence, the participating teams have announced their squads. However, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are yet to reveal their squads officially. The 10-team tournament will take place in the UAE from October 3 (Thursday) to October 20 (Sunday). Five teams are placed in each group. Teams such as India, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are placed in Group A.

Similarly, Bangladesh, England, Scotland, South Africa, and the West Indies are categorized in Group B. The table toppers and runner-up from these two groups will qualify for the semi-finals.

For the first time, Scotland qualified for the main events of the ICC T20 World Cup by triumphing over Ireland in the first semi-final of the qualifier round. You need to know that 9 out of 10 teams from the 2023 T20 World Cup are participating in the forthcoming season as well with Scotland being the only difference by replacing Ireland. 

All 23 matches of the tournament, will be played at two main venues namely Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Dubai International Cricket Stadium. It includes 20 matches in league stages, 2 in semi-finals, and a final match. 

The season opener begins with the clash between Bangladesh and Scotland in the Group B fixtures at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
