The fifth season of the Lanka Premier League (LPL 2024) is set to commence on 1st July 2024 (Monday) where the defending champions B-Love Kandy will compete against the runner-up Dambulla Sixers and the finals are scheduled to take place on 21st July 2024 (Sunday).
Several Sri Lankan star cricketers will be participating in the tournament such as Wanindu Hasaranga, Isuru Udana, Maheesh Theekshana, Angelo Mathews, Kusal Mendis, Pathum Nissanka, Dasun Shanaka, and many more…
Similarly, overseas players like Glenn Phillips, Mohammad Nabi, Shadab Khan, Mark Chapman, Reeza Hendricks, Mustafizur Rahman, and several other cricketers will be a part of the high-octane tournament.

LPL 2024 Live Streaming and Broadcasting Details: India and Sri Lanka

What if the format of LPL 2024?
All 24 matches of the LPL 2024 will be conducted in a T20 format and the 21-day tournament consists of a majority of doubleheaders and single matches on just 3 days.
According to the schedule, the day matches are scheduled to start at 3 pm IST, whereas the night matches will commence at 07:30 pm IST.
The top four teams in the points table will qualify for the LPL 2024 playoffs in these rounds:
- Qualifier 1: (1st position) vs (2nd position)
- Eliminator: (3rd place) vs (4th place)
- Qualifier 2: (Eliminator round winner) vs (Qualifier 1 Loser)
- LPL 2024 Final match: (Qualifier 1 round Winner) vs (Qualifier 2 round Winner)
