Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule: All You Need To Know About Timings & Live Streaming

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced a complete list of Champions Trophy 2025 that is set to take place in a hybrid model starting from February 19.

Pakistan will host the majority of 10 matches across three venues namely Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore including 9 in group stages and the second semi-final as well. It is understood that each venue hosts three games and the matches in Group B will take place in Pakistan.

However, Dubai hosts all three matches of the Indian cricket team in Group A fixtures and the first semi-final. There are possibilities to shift the tournament’s final venue from Lahore to Dubai if India qualifies for the championship title clash.

With each match being a high-stakes affair, the fierce rivalry between India and Pakistan is set to take place in Dubai on February 23.

Earlier there were several debates about the tournament as India refused to travel to Pakistan due to security concerns and the strained political relationship between these two nations over the past few years. Initially, the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) wasn’t ready to accept a hybrid model but later accepted upon certain conditions by suggesting Dubai as the neutral venue.

Let’s find out the schedule and live-streaming details of the forthcoming ICC’s 15-match tournament.

Conclusion:

Scrutinizing the above schedule, it is understood that all the matches in this eight-team tournament take place in a day-night arrangement starting at 02:30 pm IST.

It is the first time in cricket history that two different venues have been finalized for a single final match.

Suppose India qualifies for the knockouts, they will still make their appearance in the first semi-final regardless of the rankings in the points table of the group stages.

Unfortunately, the two big cricketing nations Sri Lanka and West Indies wouldn’t be part of the tournament’s ninth edition. This is because West Indies failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the ODI World Cup 2023 Qualifiers while Sri Lanka concluded in the 9th position in the points table. Only the teams that ranked in the first eight positions of the 50-over World Cup qualified for the CT 25.

Finally, the hybrid model allows India and Pakistan to play their matches at a neutral venue rather than traveling to their rival nations as per the agreement that starts with the Champions Trophy 2025 and continues till the 2027 media rights cycle.
