Final Opinion: A Memorable Home Test Series For Bangladesh
For the first time, Bangladesh triumphed over Pakistan in a home test series. Also, this marks their second consecutive whitewashing victory against the Asian Giants by 2-0 in Pakistan back in 2024.
Although Bangladesh started their WTC 2025-27 campaign with a 0-1 defeat to Sri Lanka in the 2-match test series, but returned to winning ways against Pakistan.
With this win, the Tigers stand out among the strongest contenders to secure a top-two finish in the points table that would help them seal a berth in the WTC 2027 final. However, Bangladesh has a long journey to travel as they will face off against the toughest opponents like Australia, the West Indies, South Africa, and England in the forthcoming series.
