

The 12th Women’s National Cricket League is set to take place from 18th August to 27th August 2021, the Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced in their latest notification. It will provide a healthy preparation for the Bangladesh womens cricket team, which plays two vital international tournaments ahead.
First, the Bangladesh women’s team will participate in the Asia Cup. Again, they fly to UAE to participate in the ICC T20 World Cup qualifiers. Both the international tournaments will be played in the T20 format. Thus, BCB has decided to arrange the current Women’s National Cricket League in T20 format.
First Round Fixtures ( Womens Cricket)
The 2022-2023 Women’s National Cricket League will feature eight divisional teams battling for glory. The Sylhet International cricket stadium and Sylhet outer ground will host all matches. Both cricket grounds will host two games on the same day.
The first round of the games starts on the 18th of August. Sylhet and Chittagong divisions clash in the first match at the Sylhet cricket ground. Dhaka and Rajshahi to play the second match on an opening day at Sylhet outer ground. Both these games will begin at 9:AM BST.
The afternoon session of the first round will see a doubleheader. The matches start at 2 PM BST. Khulna division will clash against the Barishal division, while the Mymensingh division play against the Rangpur division.
Second Round Fixtures ( Womens Cricket)
The second round of the tournament starts on the 19th of August. Two matches will be held in the morning session of the second round. At first, the Sylhet division will play against the Rajshahi division at the Sylhet outer ground. Then, the Dhaka division will clash with the Rangpur division at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
The afternoon session will witness the Khulna division taking on the Mymensingh division. The second-afternoon session match will see the Barishal division playing against the Chattogram division. 20th August will be the rest day for all the participating teams.
Third Round Fixtures ( Womens Cricket)
The third round fixtures start on 21st August. The first two matches in the morning session will see the Dhaka division taking on the Khulna division at SICS. The second game features the Mymensingh division playing against the Chattogram division at SOG.
The afternoon matches start at 2:00 PM BST. The first-afternoon session game takes place between the Rangpur division and the Rajshahi division. The second match will be played between the Sylhet division and the Barishal division.
Fourth Round Fixtures
The fourth round fixtures take place on 22nd August. The first two-morning session games will see the Sylhet division taking on the Rangpur division, whereas the Khulna division takes on the Rajshahi division.
The two-afternoon session games feature the Dhaka division clashing against the Chattogram division, while the Mymensingh division takes on the Barishal division. 23rd August is the rest day for all the participating teams.
Fifth Round Fixtures ( Womens Cricket)
The first two fifth-round morning games feature the Sylhet division taking on the Mymensingh division. While the Dhaka division will be up against the Barishal division. The matches will take place on 24th August.
The afternoon session will witness two important games. First, the Khulna division takes on the Rangpur division. Then, the Rajshahi division will be up against the Chattogram division.
Sixth Round Fixtures
The sixth round fixtures will start on the 25th of August. The first two-morning session games will see the Barishal division taking on the Rajshahi division and the Sylhet division taking on the Khulna division.
The afternoon games start at 2 PM BST. The first-afternoon game will see the Rangpur division facing the Chattogram division. The second game will witness the Dhaka division taking on the Mymensingh division. The 26th of August is the rest day for all the participating teams.
Seventh Round Fixtures ( Womens Cricket)
The seventh and final round fixtures will take place on the 27th of August. The Mymensingh division will face the Rajshahi division in the first-morning game. The second game will witness the Khulna division taking on the Chattogram division.
The Sylhet division faces the Dhaka division in the first-afternoon game and the Rangpur division will be up against the Barishal division in the second game.

The tournament will provide a major boost to the preparations of the Bangladesh womens cricket team for the upcoming tours. The BCB has emphasized that the upcoming T20 World Cup qualifier in Abu Dhabi is a vital tournament for Bangladesh Womens cricket. It assures Bangladesh a spot in the next women’s T20 World Cup.
Bangladesh womens cricket team featured in the previous Women’s T20 World cup in New Zealand. The team managed to win a game against Pakistan. But couldn’t beat the top sides.
